In its 3 June 2010 decision, Fair Work Australia has increased the minimum wage to $569.90, a $26 increase, the first increase since 1 October 2008. The same flat increase will be applied across all modern award rates, but not rates of pay derived from Div. 2B State awards which had more recent increases from State industrial tribunals.
ERS Comment - yes, we picked it. We forecast a $26 increase in our new article before the decision was issued yesterday.
